Terms of Service
IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY:
BY COMPLETING THE ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE PROCESS AND CliCKING THE SUBMIT BUTTON, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU: (i) ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER; (ii) ARE, OR ARE AUTHORIZED TO SIGN FOR AND BIND, THE CONTRACTING PARTY DEFINED BELOW AS "CUSTOMER;" AND (iii) HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE ON BEHALF OF CUSTOMER TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS ONliNE SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT. OTHERWISE, DO NOT CliCK THE ACCEPTANCE BUTTON TO PROCEED AND YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS WILL BE DISCONTINUED.
- Our $65/month all-inclusive fee is based on quarterly payroll remittances to the Canada Revenue Agency and two nanny pay runs per month. More frequent payments will be subject to an additional charge of $10 per additional pay run. GST, HST and any applicable PST, will be added to all fees as applicable. The monthly fees will be divided by the number of pay periods in the year and will be withdrawn from your bank account along with the funds required to pay your nanny and remit the required source deductions to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- You (the Customer) will be responsible to ensure that required funds are available in the bank account you have designated for the Pre-authorized debit (PAD) to fund the payment of your nanny’s pay and related deductions, the monthly service fees and applicable taxes a minimum of 5 business days prior to the pay date in order to allow sufficient time for funds to clear. A $25 NSF will be added to the PAD on the next payroll run where the PAD is not processed due to insufficient funds and we will be unable make the payment to your nanny or CRA in this circumstance. We will not be responsible for any repercussions, fines, charges or late penalties that may result. If you require us to initiate a special pay run as a result of insufficient funds, an additional fee of $50 plus applicable taxes will be withdrawn from your bank account along with the payroll funds.
- By confirming your registration through our website, you confirm that you have obtained in advance any consents required under applicable federal or provincial privacy laws to provide any personal information provided to us through the online registration process or other means.
- Any personal information collected from you will be in accordance with our privacy policy.
- You will notify us a minimum of 10 business days in advance of all changes in employment so that we may issue a Record of Employment as necessary.
- You will notify us a minimum of 10 business days in advance all compensation changes so that we may update the required payroll remittances.
- You will notify us a minimum of 10 business days in advance of all additional compensation payments or additional employment benefits paid or provided directly by you to your nanny so that we can make the necessary adjustments to the required payroll remittances.
- You will forward to us all forms and correspondence from CRA as well as all WSIB forms and correspondence. Where forms are not provided to us a minimum of 10 business days prior to a filing deadline, we are not responsible for any interest, late charges or penalties that may be imposed.
- Termination. You agree to provide 30 days notice if cancelling the service. Upon termination of this Agreement, Customer will immediately discontinue all access to and use of the Services. The Payroll Nanny shall not be liable for any damages resulting from a termination of this Agreement as provided for herein; provided, however, the termination of this Agreement shall not affect any claim arising prior to such termination.
- Termination for Cause. The Payroll Nanny reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if Customer breaches any of its material obligations under this Agreement.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Database to be only accessed by those authorized with special access rights to our systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
Do we use cookies?
Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information)
We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
